The Story of Rooted Church

In late summer 2014 a small group of families began gathering together to pray and dream about planting a church in Northwest Arkansas.  After a year of praying, planning, and meeting together that small group of families began gathering weekly for worship.  In late 2015, Rooted Church started gathering informally on Sunday evenings in the Johnson Baptist Fellowship building.  After a season of sharing a space, Johnson Fellowship decided to join with Rooted Church and in turn, graciously gave their space to this new work.  On January 3rd, 2016 Rooted Church was officially founded.  On August 13th, 2017 we commissioned and sent one of our Missional Communities out to plant Rooted Church (SWMO) in Joplin, Mo.
